The new University of Iowa Children’s Hospital will be designed as a healing environment that improves the health and well-being of children and their families. Plans include expanding existing programs and developing new services on-site and throughout Iowa to meet the current and future needs of Iowa’s children.

Abby Johnson underwent heart surgery at UI Children's Hospital when she was 6 months old, and is now back raising money.
For Matt Bulkeley, project manager for the new UI Children's Hospital building, the project is a tribute to his daughter Ella, who has spent the first 15 months of her life in the Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Illness is never convenient, but UI QuickCare is. UI care is now available in North Liberty.
