About April Schmitz

My favorite thing about working with pediatric cardiac and adult congenital cardiac patients is I get to follow my patients through the whole surgical process. I meet my patients in consult before surgery day and start to develop a relationship with them that builds as we go through preop, surgery day, their hospital stay and then again at the return visit after discharge. I love that I get to be there for my patients and help them through this process.
