Giving Opportunities
With your help, we can do even more to help children and their families. The University of Iowa Foundation is the preferred channel for private contributions to UI Children’s Hospital. Your gifts will help us build a new UI Children’s Hospital, designed from the ground up as a state-of-the-art, family-friendly environment; create research endowments aimed at seeking new knowledge to better diagnose, treat, cure, and even prevent childhood diseases and attract more of the world’s best pediatric health care experts to UI Children’s Hospital. Sometimes, it’s the little things that matter most. You can help us restock our gift closets and pantry cupboards by donating items from our Wish List that are most often requested by our patients and their families.

Since 1984, Children's Miracle Network at UI Children’s Hospital has raised more than $40 million to benefit patients and families in a variety of ways. Each year, more than 1,300 volunteers donate their time, efforts, and talents to help improve the experiences of our patients and their families. Proceeds from Volunteer Services-sponsored businesses also help fund many patient and family-focused projects and services.
