The medical team has the training, technology, and expertise to provide the best surgical care for infants, children, and young adults with diseases or injuries to the nervous system, including congenital, developmental, and acquired problems of the brain, spinal cord, skull and spine. This encompasses:

  • Tumors of the brain and spinal cord
  • Head and spine trauma
  • Vascular disorders
  • Pain and peripheral nerve abnormalities
  • Epilepsy
  • Movement disorders
  • Correction of craniofacial abnormalities of the skull base

Several of these problems require a cross-specialty team effort, which is available within this medical center.

Our commitment to families emphasizes compassion, convenience, and comfort as well as the most advanced neurosurgical techniques for pediatric patients. As part of one of the nation’s top academic medical centers, the care we provide is enhanced by our dedication to medical education and training as well as basic and clinical research.
